Northern Marine launches digital platform

Northern Marine Management, a company of the Stena Group, has decided to implement a digital inspection reporting platform from Kaiko Systems. This follows a successful pilot project conducted within the company’s managed fleet, as stated by the company.

Reporting through digital solutions

The implementation begins with Kaiko’s Shore Reports solution, which aims to support Northern Marine’s land-based inspection teams. Through a structured digital workflow, the teams are expected to capture results and generate reports more efficiently. A key objective of this initiative, according to the company, is to improve consistency in reporting and reduce administrative burdens. Additionally, timely reporting after vessel visits is sought.

As part of the pilot project, Northern Marine has already observed a reduction in the time taken to create inspection reports. This has enabled the land teams to provide documentation more efficiently while maintaining a consistent and structured approach to reporting.
