Mirko Blazevic, Director Road Europe Operations at cargo-partner, emphasizes the importance of road freight transport for European logistics: “Road freight transport plays a crucial role in keeping European supply chains flexible and reliable.” With the expansion of the network, cargo-partner aims to offer its customers an integrated solution that includes transport, customs clearance, warehousing, and digital transparency.
The company relies on its regional presence in Central and Eastern Europe as well as the capacities of the NX GROUP. The expanded offering includes a variety of road transport services, including full truck loads (FTL) and less than truck loads (LTL), groupage, as well as economy, priority, and emergency shipments.
Optimization of trade routes
As part of the expansion, cargo-partner has adjusted its service offerings on several trade routes:
For traffic between Italy and the CEE region, the company offers up to five departures per week. These connections are particularly aimed at companies in the automotive, mechanical engineering, and furniture industries, providing door-to-door transit times starting from three days.
Regarding Turkey and the CEE region, cargo-partner reports that it is responding to the growing interest in nearshoring. Weekly import and export traffic is offered to and from Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Austria, and Hungary. A regular connection between Istanbul and Brno enables door-to-door transit times starting from seven days.
Between Europe and the United Kingdom, cargo-partner operates groupage departures from Great Britain to Poland, Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, the Baltic States, and Turkey twice a week. Additionally, there is a road transport service over the Irish Sea, which includes daily options for groupage, partial and full loads, as well as express trips.
