Qatar Airways Cargo launches solution “EnergyLift”
Jun 2, 2026 at 12:14 PMAir Canada Cargo has chosen CHAMP Cargosystems‘ Cargospot neo system to implement its new cargo management system. This decision was made as part of a competitive bidding process aimed at modernizing the technology within Air Canada Cargo’s global network and simplifying the IT landscape. The new system is expected to enhance operational efficiency and provide a more transparent and responsive experience for customers and partners throughout the entire cargo cycle.
Integration of Modern Technologies
Cargospot neo Airline, the redesigned flagship cargo management system from CHAMP, is at the heart of this transformation. It is based on the modern CHAMP neo platform, which features an API-native architecture. In addition to Cargospot neo Airline, Air Canada Cargo will also integrate Cargospot neo Handling, Cargospot Mobile, and Cargospot neo Revenue Accounting to optimize operations and operate a fully connected real-time model.
The combination of Cargospot neo, TGC, TGS, and Traxon CDMP provides an integrated digital foundation that supports Air Canada Cargo’s long-term strategy. The goal is to strengthen resilience, ensure end-to-end shipment tracking, and deliver consistent, high-quality service to customers worldwide.
Nicholas Xenocostas, Chief Commercial Officer at CHAMP, commented on the partnership: “We are proud to support Air Canada Cargo on this journey. Cargospot neo is designed to connect commercial, operational, and financial teams in real-time, enabling airlines to improve cargo visibility, serve their customers better, and adapt more quickly to a complex and ever-changing global environment.”
Manuel Galindo, Chief Executive Officer of CHAMP Cargosystems, added: “Air Canada Cargo sets a clear benchmark for what modern, customer-focused cargo operations look like. With Cargospot neo, Air Canada is not only replacing outdated technologies but also redefining how commercial insights, operational execution, and financial accuracy come together in real-time. We are proud to collaborate with Air Canada Cargo on this transformation and support their teams with a platform designed for scalability and continuous innovation across the air freight ecosystem.”
