The NOSTA Group, based in Osnabrück, northern Germany, has created a new leadership position in the field of sea and air freight to strategically expand its business in Germany. Claudia Braack has taken over the management of the newly established unit Air & Ocean Germany since May 2026 and reports directly to Christian Böttcher, COO of the NOSTA Group. This structural change aims to expand business activities in the German market, promote international collaboration within the corporate group, and further develop operational standards and customer-oriented solutions.
Strategic realignment in the air and sea freight sector
Böttcher commented on the new position and emphasized the importance of the strategic development of the business area. “Establishing a dedicated unit management for Air & Ocean Germany is a consistent step for us to strategically develop and strengthen this business area in the long term. With Claudia Braack, we have gained an experienced leader with high professional competence and a strong market understanding,” Böttcher explained.
Braack brings extensive experience from the logistics industry. Prior to her transition to the NOSTA Group, she worked as Head of Operations Hamburg and Team Lead Tradelane Management at LESCHACO. She also held leadership positions at Ligentia and Röhlig Deutschland.
In her new role, Braack plans to optimize processes through digitalization and automation and to intensify collaboration between the departments of the corporate group. “As an owner-managed family business, NOSTA embodies a true ‘hands-on mentality.’ I see this dynamic environment as an ideal opportunity to significantly shape processes. At the same time, it motivates me to inspire employees for common goals and to make successes visible as a team,” said Braack.
