May 21, 2026 at 9:31 AMThe heavylift specialists from Gruber Logistics, an international transport and logistics group founded in 1936, delivered two railway wagons from Germany to northern Italy for Südtiroler Transportstrukturen AG (STA, South Tyrolean Transport Structures) at the Oberbozen station of the renowned narrow-gauge Ritten Railway at the end of April and beginning of May.
In two partial transports, which were approximately 27 m long and weighed 66 t , the Rhein-Neckar-Verkehr wagons were brought from southwestern Germany to their future deployment site in South Tyrol (northern Italy).
Halfway through a spectacular transport project in Northern Italy
Two more rail units will follow before the project is completed in mid-June 2026. The Eisenhüttenstadt branch of the logistics company took over the precise and detailed planning of the transports. The office in Brandenburg (Germany) is well-equipped for the transport of rail vehicles due to its fleet equipment.
