May 12, 2026 at 8:02 AMThe Austrian Post and Amazon have expanded their collaboration to provide improved service to customers in Austria: From now on, Amazon customers can have their orders delivered to over 1,600 post stations. This measure aims to increase convenience and flexibility for users, as stated by the Austrian Post.
The post stations are accessible around the clock, allowing customers to pick up their packages at a time that suits them. This is particularly advantageous for people with busy schedules, as they can collect their packages, for example, on their way home from work or while shopping. The selection of the post station is made directly during the ordering process on the Amazon website, where customers can specify their desired station as the delivery address.
The network of post stations in Austria now includes more than 1,600 locations with a total of around 190,000 compartments. This expansion is part of a strategy aimed at optimizing logistics and delivery via post stations. Additionally, another 150 new post stations are planned for the year 2026.
