May 4, 2026 at 9:40 AMDHL Supply Chain and Pepco have expanded their partnership with the aim of increasing the efficiency of distribution logistics for the retail company in Europe. The collaboration aims to improve product availability, shorten delivery times, and optimize network performance to support Pepco’s growing store network, according to DHL.
Expansion of distribution centers
DHL Supply Chain will take over the operation of five distribution centers for Pepco in the future. These are located in Sosnowiec and Rawa Mazowiecka in Poland, Gyal in Hungary, and Bucharest in Romania. The latter location marks DHL Supply Chain’s entry into the Romanian market. The new structure is intended to ensure rapid expansion of the stores and reliable product availability across Europe.
The decision to expand the partnership is based, according to DHL, on the previous collaboration in the distribution centers in Poland and Spain. „This partnership enables the Pepco Group to pursue its strategic goals of accelerated growth with the desired effectiveness and efficiency. We look forward to a successful, long-term partnership,“ said Stephan Borchert (pictured 3rd from the right), CEO of the Pepco Group.
