Apr 29, 2026 at 10:38 AMDuring a working visit to Poland, Ukrainian Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko met with her Polish counterpart Donald Tusk. The discussions focused on deepening cooperation in the areas of border infrastructure, logistics, and road traffic. The meeting took place in Rzeszów, a city that has become a significant logistics center since the start of the invasion of Ukraine, as reported by the Ministry for Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine.
Focus on border infrastructure
A central topic of the negotiations was the development of border infrastructure and the improvement of efficiency in border crossing procedures. The two parties specifically discussed preparations for an agreement on joint control at border crossings. This aims to shorten crossing times, relieve infrastructure, and create more predictable conditions for providers.
Another point of discussion was the registration of Ukrainian providers in the Polish SENT/RMPD system, where technical issues are to be clarified. According to the ministry, this measure is crucial to ensure the operation of Ukrainian transport companies in the EU market and to avoid additional delays.
