Apr 23, 2026 at 8:55 AMFrosti Lau Yi-sau will become the new Chief Executive of Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited (Hactl) starting June 8, 2026. With over 25 years of experience in leadership positions within the aviation and air freight industry, Lau brings extensive knowledge from various markets, including Hong Kong, mainland China, Australia, Southeast Asia, and South Africa.
Prior to his appointment, Lau served as Regional General Manager for Southeast Asia and Oceania at Cathay Pacific Airways. In this role, he was responsible for the strategic direction and management of air freight activities in these regions. He also held the position of Regional General Manager for the Southwest Pacific and was General Manager for Cargo Service Delivery, where he additionally served as Director of the company’s air cargo terminal subsidiary.
Lau has extensive experience in commercial and operational areas, including digital transformation, partnerships, and talent development. These skills are seen as crucial for the future direction of Hactl.

Frosti Lau holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Financial Analysis from the HKUST Business School, a Bachelor of Laws from the University of London, and a Master of Arts from the University of Hong Kong.
