NAS Moves to Nairobi
Mar 27, 2026 at 3:49 PMCargoX and TradeSun have jointly announced the introduction of an automated document validation system. This feature, which acts as an integrated verification layer, aims to enhance the consistency of documents prior to submission, thereby reducing the time required, as stated by the company.
According to the company, international trade is heavily reliant on the accuracy of the documents provided in the supply chain. The World Trade Organization indicates that an average customs transaction involves up to 30 parties and requires the processing of approximately 40 documents and 200 data elements. Many data points are entered multiple times, increasing the likelihood of errors.
TradeSun’s new document validation utilizes an agent-based AI verification layer based on CargoX’s blockchain-based trade document platform. The automated review of documents takes place before shipment.
