Transco expands warehouse logistics
Mar 27, 2026 at 9:03 AMThe Time Critical division of Air Charter Service recorded significant growth last year, particularly in the area of IATA-certified Next Flight Out (NFO) offerings. According to company reports, shipments in this segment increased by 175% compared to the previous year.
Robert Alleman, CEO of ACS Time Critical, commented on the developments: “We had a very successful year, with all three of our services seeing substantial increases. The largest growth came in our NFO department, where we handled nearly three times as much work as in 2024. About 18 months ago, we hired Ash McCook, who has extensive experience in urgent logistics that he gained over 15 years in the military. His focus on the NFO offering and the team has really paid off.”
The NFO offering provides a more versatile and cost-effective solution compared to Onboard Courier (OBC), as it allows for larger shipments that can be transported without a passenger. In light of recent geopolitical developments, tariffs, supply chain disruptions, and rapid market changes, NFO has established itself as a valuable resource for a variety of industries. The IATA cargo accreditation enables the company to directly secure freight capacities with nearly every airline, significantly increasing booking speed and thus enhancing efficiency.
The OBC division of Air Charter Service saw an 85% increase in orders last year, marking the highest number of orders since the department was established ten years ago. Additionally, there is a ground transportation division in the USA that frequently organizes freight transport for clients. Here, too, bookings increased by 53% last year.
Dan Morgan-Evans, Group Cargo Director of ACS, added: “We restructured our leadership team in the Time Critical Services area last year, with Robert as the new head and Andreas Spies promoted to COO. These changes have really paid off. The future of ACS Time Critical looks promising, as we made significant progress last year and are currently expanding the team.”
