Mar 25, 2026 at 3:00 PMGAL Aviation has announced the implementation of the Airport Cargo Community System (ACS) platform by Kale Logistics at El Dorado International Airport in Bogotá, Colombia. This measure aims to improve efficiency, transparency, and coordination within the airport’s cargo logistics ecosystem.
Optimization of Cargo Logistics
With the introduction of the ACS platform, the Miami-based logistics company aims to strengthen collaboration among exporters, freight forwarders, transport service providers, and other supply chain stakeholders. The system is designed to optimize cargo operations through structured scheduling, leading to smoother cargo flow and a reduction in operational bottlenecks.
The implementation of the platform is expected to bring various operational and economic benefits. These include reduced waiting times for cargo processing, greater predictability in service delivery, optimized cargo movements between terminals and delivery zones, as well as improved visibility and traceability of shipments. By standardizing information exchange and enhancing planning capabilities for logistics partners, the platform will contribute to a more efficient and better-coordinated cargo ecosystem at the airport.
GAL Aviation has urged exporters, shippers, and logistics partners to register on the ACS platform to ensure a smooth transition that meets the operational standards of the airport and the industry.
Support During Implementation
Juan Pablo Luchau, CEO of GAL Aviation, commented on this initiative: “With the implementation of the ACS platform, we reaffirm our commitment to modernization and greater efficiency in Colombia’s air cargo ecosystem. This measure will help improve coordination across the entire logistics chain and strengthen the overall performance and competitiveness of the sector. We have already begun pilot trials at El Dorado Airport, where a tool of this technological nature is essential due to the complexity of the site.”
Luchau added that GAL Aviation’s commercial and operational teams are fully focused on supporting their partners during the implementation phase to ensure a smooth and successful transition to the new system.
Amar More, President and CEO of Kale Info Solutions, emphasized: “Today, airports need smarter digital ecosystems to manage growing cargo volumes and complex interactions among multiple stakeholders. We are proud to support GAL Aviation and the logistics ecosystem in Bogotá with a solution that enhances coordination, increases cargo visibility, and enables more efficient cargo flows throughout the airport’s supply chain.”
