The Global Express Austria GmbH will become a partner of Online Systemlogistik (OSL) starting April 1, 2026, with its location in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Additionally, the branch in Maribor will be used for the handling of OSL shipments. This partnership aims to further strengthen the existing bilateral gateway traffic between OSL partners and Global Express Austria, as stated by OSL.
So far, OSL partners have been able to carry out freight transport to and from Slovenia via existing connections. With the new partnership, transport will be offered in the regular main run with night handling starting in April. Furthermore, the Ljubljana location will be included in the OSL quality management, resulting in a matrix certification.
Global Express Austria GmbH has been part of the OSL freight network since April 1, 2020, when the Kalsdorf location in Austria was integrated. The branch in Klagenfurt followed in November 2025. Rolf Hadolt, Managing Director of Global Express Austria GmbH, commented on the expectations for the new partnership as follows: „We expect that the partnership of our Ljubljana location will increase the utilization of trucks to and from Slovenia.“
The management of Online Systemlogistik, represented by Verena Käuper and Mike Wüllner, expressed their pleasure about the new cooperation. Mike Wüllner emphasized that the partnership represents another step in the company’s internationalization strategy. Verena Käuper added that strengthening the international freight network in Slovenia with a proven system partner is an optimal solution for all parties involved. With this expansion, OSL is now represented by 30 international partners in Europe.
