This solution aims to enhance efficiency in distribution and logistics centers by integrating real-time monitoring, AI-driven decision support, and operational analytics into a single user interface.

Warehouse operators today face the challenge of processing a multitude of data from various sources. Chris Steiner, Senior Vice President Product Management at Dematic, emphasizes: “Warehouse operators have more data than ever before – but data alone does not automatically improve performance.” The Dematic Command Center consolidates information from various automation solutions, software systems, and manual processes. This creates a unified layer of operational intelligence that enables informed decision-making. The platform helps employees not only recognize what has happened but also understand the root causes of problems, facilitating faster problem resolution and better control of operations.
Modern warehouses generate large volumes of data, often spread across different providers and monitoring tools. The Dematic Command Center is based on operational insights from over 9,000 automation projects worldwide. This extensive data foundation enables the system to recognize performance patterns in the warehouse and provide operators with targeted recommendations for action. The first version of the platform already offers comprehensive transparency and deep insights into all warehouse processes. Future versions are expected to expand this foundation and include AI-driven decision support, advanced orchestration, and digital twins for „what-if“ analyses.
The Dematic Command Center will be showcased at the upcoming trade fairs LogiMAT in Stuttgart and MODEX in Atlanta, where interested parties can experience the platform through live demonstrations.
