Mar 19, 2026 at 3:56 PMThe Spanish transport association (Asociación Española del Transporte, AET) and the country’s freight forwarders federation (Federación española de Transitarios, Organización para la logística, el transporte y la representación aduanera, Feteia-Oltra) have signed an agreement to promote innovation, the exchange of information and communication technologies (ICT) in the transport, mobility, and logistics sector, and knowledge sharing. The collaboration is set for two years and includes coordinated initiatives from both organisations.
The agreement signed in Barcelona creates a framework to consolidate projects and translate them into concrete activities for the industry. Joint events are planned as a platform for exchanging experiences, development and strategic approaches.
The focus is on digitalisation, the use of ICT, training and education, as well as on topics related to innovation and sustainability. The aim is to bring relevant solutions into practice faster and strengthen the sector’s ability to compete.
Additionally, regular information exchanges will optimise ongoing projects and improve dialogue with authorities. A mixed commission will coordinate the implementation.
