Mar 19, 2026 at 2:24 PMJuan Nunez has been appointed as the new Accountable Executive and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of 7Air. In this position, he will take overall responsibility for the operation of the airline from Miami and ensure that all applicable regulatory requirements are met. Additionally, he will oversee the efficiency and performance of daily operations.
Nunez will serve as the primary point of contact for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). His responsibilities include ensuring that the company has the necessary resources, processes, and oversight to maintain the highest standards of safety and compliance.
The new COO brings extensive leadership experience as well as a strong operational background. He is known in the industry for his expertise in FAA certification and has previously held various senior positions, including Director of Flight Operations at 7Air Cargo Airlines and Vice President, Director of Operations at Global Crossing Airlines.
Nunez’s responsibilities also include leading international flight operations and flight training. His extensive experience in aviation is seen as valuable for the growth and success of 7Air.
The appointment of Juan Nunez is considered a strategic move for the airline to enhance operational efficiency and further solidify safety standards.
