Luftfrachtlademittel-Dienstleister Unilode Aviation Solutions, headquartered in Zurich, and Satco have announced the opening of a new maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) facility at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). This development is part of a long-term agreement to supply cargo nets that will support Unilode’s global network.
The new MRO facility in L.A. is the result of a joint investment by Satco and Unilode in the Americas region. At this location, Unilode will provide on-site maintenance and repair services for Unit Load Devices (ULD) to support Satco’s growing equipment. This is intended to enhance operational capabilities and customer service.
Expansion of Presence in the Americas
The opening of the LAX facility represents an important step in Unilode’s further expansion in the Americas. The facility will help ensure high standards in MRO services to meet the increasing demands of the aviation industry. On behalf of Satco, the facility will play a central role in delivering the proven services that Unilode already offers in its global maintenance and repair network.
As part of this enhanced collaboration, Unilode has decided to source ULD-related products from Satco. This agreement reflects Unilode’s ongoing focus on supply chain resilience, product performance, and long-term strategic partnerships.
