The project includes an expansion of 94,000 m² in the La Laboral area, which will significantly increase operational capacity and create space for an additional 4,500 vehicles.
The investment aims to strengthen CEVA’s position in the finished vehicle logistics sector in the Mediterranean region and respond to the growing demand in the area. The modernization of the infrastructure includes upgrading workshop equipment, constructing a new car wash tunnel, and renovating and expanding paint booths. Additionally, the processes for the storage and distribution of vehicles will be improved.
Capacity Expansion
Eric Dessupoiu, Vice President for Finished Vehicles at CEVA Logistics, stated: “This investment at our finished vehicle logistics site in the Port of Tarragona will enhance our ability to operate more than 65 hectares and provide a capacity of 32,500 parking spaces. With this expanded vehicle storage area, immediate proximity to the port, available rail connections, our on-site workshops, and our distribution capabilities, we have the necessary resources to support our growth and that of our customers in this strategic market.”
With this measure, CEVA Logistics reaffirms its commitment to the Spanish market and emphasizes the importance of the Port of Tarragona as a key location for finished vehicle logistics in Europe.
