Mar 17, 2026 at 9:24 AMManoMano and ID Logistics have celebrated the five-year anniversary of their strategic partnership. The collaboration, which began in 2021, focuses on optimizing logistics processes and reducing the ecological footprint. The site in Châtres, Seine-et-Marne, serves as an example of integrating economic efficiency, technological innovation, and environmental responsibility.
Growth and Expansion of Logistics Capacities
Since the opening of the warehouse, the operational area has doubled from 18,000 m² to 36,000 m², with a planned expansion to approximately 54,000 m² by the end of 2027. The processed volumes have also increased: In 2022, 1.2 million units were processed, and a target of 3 million units is set for 2026, representing a 36% increase compared to 2025. Additionally, the warehouse supports the integration of ManoMano logistics solutions for marketplace sellers, which have risen from 393 merchants in 2021 to 915 in 2025.
Technological Innovations for Efficiency Improvement
The warehouse in Châtres is designed to handle a wide range of products, from small items to bulky goods. It utilizes a mechanized conveyor system to automate package sorting and distribution. Furthermore, the warehouse has developed specific expertise in handling sensitive and hazardous products to optimize logistics operations under high operational demands.
Frédéric Grenier, Managing Director of ID Logistics France, commented on the partnership: “We are pleased to have supported ManoMano over the past five years. This collaboration reflects our vision of strategic co-management based on data, operational excellence, and innovation.”
Sustainability in Focus
In 2025, ManoMano recorded a reduction in transported volumes by 28.9% compared to the previous year. Transportation is primarily conducted via sea and road, while air freight has been excluded. Additionally, empty space in trucks has been optimized through operational measures and technological tools, resulting in an average load factor of 48%.
Another element of the sustainability strategy is the „Second Life“ program, which promotes the recycling of returned products. In 2025, this program accounted for 68% of ManoMano’s second-life business. Furthermore, 100% of the cardboard used is reused as cushioning material for sensitive items.
Outlook for the Future
Starting in 2026, ManoMano and ID Logistics plan to accelerate initiatives for the reusability of packaging and introduce pouches as a replacement for cardboard for 10% of the product offering. By 2030, the decarbonization of the supply chain will be further advanced, particularly through the electrification of the first mile and the consolidation of the last mile in urban areas.
