Mar 4, 2026 at 3:00 PMPriority Freight has appointed Graham Little as Director of Route and Business Development. With this decision, the British company aims to strengthen its strategy in the field of time-critical freight and improve its competitive position in this sector.
The automotive supply chains are currently under significant structural pressure. Production locations are changing, electrification programs are being realigned, and supplier networks are consolidating due to cost, political, and capacity constraints. Inventory levels in the supply chains of OEMs and Tier suppliers remain intentionally low, meaning there is little room for maneuver in the event of disruptions, with response times measured in hours rather than days.
In this context, route positioning and forward-looking industry information are no longer mere tactical considerations but critical competitive factors.
Graham Little brings over 20 years of experience in leadership positions in time-critical logistics. Most recently, he was Managing Director at Evolution Time Critical, where he supported complex supply chains in the automotive and advanced manufacturing industries in Europe and North America.
Neal Williams, CEO of Priority Freight, commented on this development: „The automotive industry is adapting rather than growing. Procurement patterns are changing, production is irregular, and risks have not diminished. Our responsibility is to ensure that Priority Freight is aligned where our customers operate and where vulnerability is greatest. Graham’s industry knowledge and competitive experience enhance our ability to position ourselves intelligently in these markets.“
In his new role, Little will focus on strengthening Priority Freight’s presence in key geographic regions where the company’s customers are active and further developing capabilities in line with ongoing production demand. The strategy is based on disciplined route positioning, alignment with suppliers, and deep industry knowledge, rather than solely aiming for volume expansion.
Priority Freight is celebrating 30 years in business and is one of Europe’s largest independently operated specialists in time-critical freight, as well as a recipient of the King’s Award for Enterprise – International Trade.
