Mar 4, 2026 at 2:19 PMTII SCHEUERLE has announced the further development of its Self-Propelled Modular Transporter (SPMT) and presents new features aimed at increasing the safety and efficiency of the vehicles. The manufacturer, regarded as a pioneer in this field, has previously introduced innovations such as the telematics and fleet management system SCHEUERLE Connect. The current updates aim to optimize the operation of the SPMT and enhance operational safety.
New Features for Increased Safety
One of the main innovations is the COG Easy Mode, which allows users to better assess complex load conditions. By visualizing tipping lines on the vehicle display, the center of gravity of the loaded SPMT is displayed in real-time. In combination with SCHEUERLE Connect, relevant condition information can be centrally collected and evaluated. This feature helps reduce the risk of tipping and avoid potential structural damage, thereby increasing operational safety.
Another important feature is the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), which continuously monitors the tire pressure of all SPMT modules. Pressure deviations are immediately detected and displayed both on the module’s display and via SCHEUERLE Connect. This reduces the need for manual checks and improves tire lifespan, as they are always maintained within the optimal operating range. Drivers and fleet managers thus receive a transparent overview of the tire condition.
Flexibility through Over-the-Air Updates
TII SCHEUERLE enables operators to independently perform software updates (photo). These updates are provided over-the-air, meaning they can be implemented regardless of location and infrastructure. This keeps the vehicles up to date even after delivery, without the need for a service technician on-site. This increases flexibility and minimizes downtime, as new features and improvements are immediately available.
The new features are fully integrable into SCHEUERLE Connect, allowing for centralized access and analysis of all relevant operational data. Users thus gain comprehensive transparency over vehicle and condition data, which forms the basis for safe and efficient operations.
With these developments, TII SCHEUERLE continues its strategy of continuously improving the SPMT. The focus is on the safety and efficiency of transport solutions that are intended to help operators reliably manage their complex transport tasks.
