Feb 25, 2026 at 4:40 PMThe Britannia Group has appointed David Roberts as the new Regional Director for Asia. His role commenced on February 23, 2026. Roberts will be based in the Britannia Group office in Singapore and is responsible for the regional hub offices in Asia as well as supporting members throughout the region.
Roberts brings over 30 years of industry experience, most recently serving as the Head of Asia-Pacific at NorthStandard. He has been living in Singapore since 2013 and has previously worked in London, Athens, and New York.
Responsibilities and Strategic Importance
In his new role, Roberts will oversee the offices and operations of the Britannia Group in Asia, particularly in Singapore, Hong Kong, South Korea, Japan, and Taiwan. The Asian market is of great significance to the Britannia Group, as 43% of its own tonnage volume originates from this region. In addition to ensuring a high level of service for the members of the Britannia Group, Roberts will also aim to further develop and grow the company’s presence in Asia.
