New challenges after a quarter of a century
Feb 10, 2026 at 3:10 PMHegelmann Multimodal UAB has taken a significant step in international logistics this year by joining two new partner networks. These memberships aim to strengthen the company’s global operational capabilities, improve access to specialized markets, and provide more flexible logistics solutions for customers.
Membership in Specialist Freight Networks
In 2026, Hegelmann Multimodal UAB joined the Specialist Freight Networks (SFN), a global network of independent freight forwarders and logistics providers. This membership solidifies the company’s position in the international freight market and opens up new opportunities within complex supply chains. SFN connects trusted logistics companies from various regions of the world and promotes collaboration and knowledge exchange to ensure efficient and solution-oriented processes in international transport.
Through its membership in SFN, Hegelmann Multimodal expands its geographical reach in Europe and beyond. This enables more efficient route planning, reduces the number of unnecessary intermediaries, and improves responsiveness to changing customer needs. Additionally, the membership strengthens the company’s multimodal transport capabilities by allowing seamless integration of road, rail, sea, and air transport through reliable local partners. Furthermore, affiliation with SFN enhances the company’s international reputation and reaffirms its commitment to high-quality standards and long-term partnerships.
Joining the New Silk Road Network
Also in 2026, Hegelmann Multimodal UAB officially joined the New Silk Road Network (NSRN) in Lithuania. This network focuses on logistics solutions along the modern Belt & Road routes. NSRN brings together professionals and companies operating between Europe, Central Asia, and China, placing a strong emphasis on collaboration, business development, and knowledge exchange along the Eurasian supply corridors.
Membership in NSRN enables Hegelmann Multimodal to take a more active role in the Eurasian logistics corridors and strengthen partnerships in both eastern and western directions. This supports the development of efficient multimodal solutions by combining road, rail, sea, and air transport into an integrated supply chain.
The memberships in SFN and NSRN are not only an expansion of the network but also a strategic decision that strengthens the company’s global presence, enhances multimodal expertise, and enables the provision of improved, interconnected logistics solutions in international markets.
