Envirotainer, a provider of cold chain solutions for temperature-sensitive pharmaceuticals, has announced a partnership with Mercy Ships. This collaboration aims to support Mercy Ships‘ mission to provide free and life-saving healthcare to underserved communities where access to safe and affordable surgical procedures is severely limited, as stated by the company.
As part of the agreement, Envirotainer will provide its cold chain solutions to secure medications for patients being treated on Mercy Ships‘ hospital vessels. This includes the use of the ProofPak system, a robust, reusable packaging that, according to the company, ensures that pharmaceuticals remain effective even under challenging conditions.
