Kinaxis has appointed Razat Gaurav as the new CEO, who officially began his role on January 12, 2026. Gaurav brings over 25 years of experience in supply chain solutions and has previously held various leadership positions, including CEO of Planview and LLamasoft. His appointment was announced by Bob Courteau, the interim CEO and chairman of the board of Kinaxis. Courteau emphasized that Gaurav’s extensive experience and successes in driving innovation-driven growth make him ideally suited for this role.
Experience and Vision for the Future
Gaurav has made a name for himself in the industry by building and scaling global organizations in high-growth markets. During his time at Planview, he led the company’s transformation in artificial intelligence (AI) and developed a platform that leverages modern data architectures and AI capabilities. This resulted in Planview more than doubling its revenue while maintaining high operating margins.
In his new role at Kinaxis, Gaurav expressed his excitement about returning to the supply chain sector. He sees Kinaxis in a unique position to redefine the future of intelligent supply chains. Gaurav plans to advance the next generation of AI-driven decision-making and supply chain orchestration, particularly through the use of the Maestro platform. He emphasized his intention to set standards for innovation and build lasting partnerships to create value for employees, customers, and shareholders.
Gaurav’s appointment is part of a broader strategy by Kinaxis to create long-term value for all stakeholders. Alongside Gaurav, other key positions, such as the President of Global Commercial, have been filled by Mark Morgan to strengthen the leadership team and promote sustainable growth.
Bob Courteau will return to his role as non-executive chairman of the board after his transition period as interim CEO. Angel Mendez will continue to serve as independent lead director.
