Rostock Port Looks Back on a Successful First Half of the Year
Jul 13, 2025 at 5:49 PMdriveMybox, the Hamburg-based digital platform for container trucking, is expanding into Southeast Europe. After Germany, Italy, and Hungary (as a regional hub for Eastern Europe), Greece will be the fourth country to join the driveMybox network – and will also serve the markets in Bulgaria and North Macedonia. This marks another milestone for the company on its path to a Europe-wide digital solution for container transport.
(Hamburg) With this market entry, driveMybox is bringing its innovative, fully digitized platform to a strategically important region. The new location allows the company to serve one of the central transport corridors in the Mediterranean region from now on – with even more flexibility, transparency, and efficiency for customers and transport providers. The representation of driveMybox in Southeast Europe will be through a newly founded company, driveMybox Greece S.A.
“With Germany, Italy, and our Eastern Europe hub in Hungary, we have already established a strong foundation on the continent. Greece is a strategically logical next step,” says Patrick Jandt, CEO of driveMybox. “Together, we are now further developing our smart logistics solution – for innovative, digital container transport across Europe.”
Gordon Friza, CFO of driveMybox, adds: “Every new market is not only part of our long-term growth strategy but also opens up significant economic potential locally. With the expansion of driveMybox in Greece, Bulgaria, and North Macedonia, we are confident that we can build a strong presence in the Mediterranean region – thus advancing both our operational reach and our goal of making container transport in Europe more connected, efficient, and future-proof.”
With the signing of the contract, the implementation phase now begins: The driveMybox team is working closely with the new team in Greece to adapt the platform to local market requirements. This collaborative approach ensures that regional conditions are taken into account – while maintaining the intuitive and efficient user experience that driveMybox is known for.
Constantinos Mouskos, CEO of driveMybox Greece: “We are very excited to bring driveMybox to Greece and enable trucking companies and shippers to handle transport orders much more efficiently. With the platform, we are initiating a much-needed digital upgrade for the local logistics market – and we look forward to shaping the digital future of transport in our region and beyond together.”
Becoming a Leading Company in Digital Container Trucking
driveMybox was launched in Germany in 2020 and expanded to Italy in 2021 and to Hungary in 2024 – from where customers in Romania and Slovenia are also served. Additionally, driveMybox offers cross-border transport to the respective neighboring countries. The mission is clear: to become the leading digital solution for container trucking in Europe – and ultimately worldwide.
