Currently, companies, organizations, and institutions can register their events for the 17th Logistics Day. On this Europe-wide action day, logistics opens its doors and presents its diverse tasks, training opportunities, and professions to the general public. Logistics Day is organized in a decentralized and cross-border manner, allowing a total of 3,500 logistics enthusiasts to participate in 167 events across Germany as well as in Luxembourg, Poland, Lithuania, Ukraine, Turkey, Switzerland, and the Netherlands in 2023. Since its launch by the Federal Association of Logistics (BVL) in 2008, the action day has taken place on the third Thursday in April each year, with the next date being April 18, 2024.
Strengthening Logistics Together
As an economic sector that connects all industries, logistics offers numerous activities and professions. This diversity aims to be anchored in public awareness through Logistics Day, providing the economic sector with the attention it deserves. Logistics is an important and attractive field of work: the job is varied, meaningful, and system-relevant; without it, neither the economy nor society can function.
For companies, organizations, and institutions, Logistics Day is an opportunity to strengthen the image of the entire economic sector as well as increase their visibility in their field and region. By participating in Logistics Day, they not only have the chance to enhance their image but can also showcase job and career prospects, thereby attracting logistics enthusiasts as potential employees. This, in turn, benefits the entire economic sector.
Get Involved and Engage
Logistics Day is a non-profit initiative, and the events are free for visitors. Furthermore, there are no limits to the imagination of the organizers: in recent years, company tours, expert lectures, simulation games, discussion panels, forklift driving courses, and much more have been realized. Digital or hybrid events such as webinars, video conferences, blogs, vlogs, and similar formats are also possible. Interested companies, organizations, and institutions should now begin planning their event offerings. Additionally, they can promote it in their press work, on websites, and in social media.
Register Now as an Organizer
Companies can register for free as organizers at www.tag-der-logistik.de. If they wish to engage particularly in the economic sector, they can also support Logistics Day as a premium partner. They will receive an exclusive service package for maximum visibility and will be included in all communication activities of the action day. For initiatives and associations that want to support with their network, a cooperation as an ideal partner is possible.
