trans-o-flex celebrates topping-out ceremony for logistics center in Styria
Sep 7, 2023 at 11:09 AMIn two months (November 8 to 11, 2023), the 12th Swiss Commercial Vehicle Show transport-CH, the 2nd Swiss Automotive Aftermarket Show, and the 1st Swiss Bodywork Show carrosserie-CH will take place in Bern. Following the extremely successful event in the “Corona year” 2021, the organizers are announcing a comprehensive showcase of the Swiss mobility industry with countless attractions and premieres.
(Bern) 29,885 visitors came to Bern in 2021 despite pandemic measures during the four days of the fair in November, making the leading trade fairs the meeting point for the mobility industry. Now, from November 8 to 11, 2023, the next edition of this industry meeting is just around the corner. With just over three months to go before the event, the organizers are confident that they can build on the success of the last two editions in 2019 and 2021.
“We are very optimistic about achieving our goals based on feedback from the industry and the current registration status,” explains event president Dominique Kolly. They aim to “attract around 35,000 visitors to Bern.” The preparations, adds trade fair director Jean-Daniel Goetschi, “are going according to plan and promise four unforgettable days.” The attractions and premieres already announced by the exhibitors, as well as an expanded supporting program, will also contribute to this.
Conceptually, the organizers from Expotrans SA, who come from the mobility industry themselves, are largely relying on continuity: “No major changes are planned for 2023,” says Dominique Kolly. “The only area we have expanded is the section for professional events and congresses.”
After the event in the “Corona year” 2021, which was fraught with uncertainties, and the current numerous global upheavals, they want to “offer the exhibitors stability above all. The trade fairs should serve as a meeting point to unite the entire industry and also allow for socializing,” says Jean-Daniel Goetschi.
Accordingly, the organizers have also ensured that the loss of the old festival hall, which must make way for a new building by 2025, can be compensated with additional exhibition space. Five mobile halls will complement the offerings at the exhibition grounds in Bern. “We are ready and looking forward to the fair in November,” says Dominique Kolly. The pre-sale for visitor tickets is scheduled to start in early September.
The halls at the BERNEXPO exhibition grounds are nearly fully booked
It has been evident for some time that the three simultaneously held leading trade fairs carrosserie-CH / transport-CH / aftermarket-CH from November 8 to 11, 2023, in Bern will once again become a comprehensive meeting point for the Swiss mobility industry.
Two months before the fairs take place in Bern, the organizers of Expotrans SA can report that the halls at the BERNEXPO exhibition grounds are nearly fully booked. The exhibitors have reserved more space for the leading trade fairs than in the last two editions. There is also a slight increase in the number of exhibitors. A total of over 800 brands will be present over the four days in Bern – more than ever before.
Once again a comprehensive industry meeting point
“The carrosserie-CH / transport-CH / aftermarket-CH will thus once again become the comprehensive industry meeting point,” says event president Dominique Kolly with pleasure. And trade fair director Jean-Daniel Goetschi adds: “The event in Bern will thus also become a true showcase of the Swiss mobility industry.” The pre-sale for visitor tickets will start soon.
