BTK Opens a New Logistics Center Near Munich

With a new logistics center in Parsdorf near Munich, BTK Befrachtungs- und Transportkontor GmbH is expanding its contract logistics business area. The new location will go into operation on January 1, 2022, with an area of 11,000 m². A major customer will now be centrally managed there.

(Rosenheim/Vaterstetten) South of Munich, directly at the A92 Parsdorf interchange, the hall offers ample space with a height of 11.5 meters, including a mezzanine. The lease was signed in November. With two-thirds of the area racked, it was ready for the relocation of the first customers in December. As the Parsdorf logistics center, the hall primarily consolidates a previously decentralized major customer in one location.

Including the two own logistics properties in Raubling and additional rented warehouses in the Rosenheim area, the company now operates 30,000 m² of space. Since 2014, BTK’s warehousing and logistics services have been serving customers from industry and trade with an expanding range of value-added services. The variety of goods in the warehouse ranges from man-high rolls in production logistics to palletized eCommerce goods in customer-specific shipping, as well as an open small parts warehouse for quick spare parts service.

Authorized signatory Peter Berger is responsible for the rapidly growing contract logistics business area, which currently has 60 full-time positions, and notes: “We receive many inquiries, especially from the region.
