Oct 8, 2020 at 6:54 PMThe HOLM Start-up Day adapts to the situation surrounding the Corona crisis and is called ‘Nationwide Day of Start-ups in Logistics and Mobility’. The event will take place on October 13 and 14, 2020, mostly virtually. Many great sessions await the participants.
(Frankfurt am Main) With a new concept and primarily as an online event, the House of Logistics and Mobility (HOLM) GmbH is launching its annual start-up event, this time under the name ‘Nationwide Day of Start-ups in Logistics and Mobility’ (formerly HOLM Start-up Day).
A diverse program is offered. Over both days and practically throughout the entire duration, a ‘Neutral and Individual Path Consultation for Founders and Start-ups’ and a ‘Matchmaking Wall’ will accompany the participants. Through the economic development agency Frankfurt, start-ups can receive advice and tips on various areas. On the ‘Matchmaking Wall’, managed by HOLM, participants can search for projects or cooperation partners, new impulses, innovative ideas, investors, or the right contacts.
Various lectures and individual presentations will be offered on both days. Particularly noteworthy are the sessions:
Pitch your Idea! – Cave of Mentors (Tue. 13.10.2020 – 13:00-15:00)
In the ‘Cave of Mentors’, the best start-ups present themselves to the critical eyes of the jury and receive the feedback of their lives. Virtually via ‘Zoom’, participants have the chance to be live when the pitchers on-site at HOLM give their all to win over the mentors of the Mentor Lane Community and go home with their business idea as the winner of the prize sponsored by PS Team. In addition to new inspirations and valuable tips for their own development, as well as fresh impulses, the audience will also be offered plenty of entertainment and fun.
Prototype Safari Meets Start-up Quarterly Slot 1 (Wed. 14.10.2020 – 10:30-12:00)

In this event, two well-known HOLM formats are combined. In two slots, three young companies each present their digital solution or platform live. Each start-up has 15 minutes for a live demonstration and then must answer questions from participants, potential customers, investors, and cooperation partners for 10 minutes.
In addition to the Cave of Mentors, the matching event will also take place on-site. There, start-ups can personally introduce themselves to potential investors.
But the other program points are also impressive. Some sessions are free, while others require separate registration (after a one-time registration).
