Kales Airline Services will serve as the official General Sales Agent (GSA) for Finnair Cargo in Switzerland starting July 1, 2026. This partnership aims to strengthen Finnair’s presence in the Swiss air freight market and enhance collaboration with customers. Kales is known for its customer-oriented approach and expertise in handling high-value goods, particularly in the pharmaceuticals and chemicals sectors.
The collaboration between Finnair and Kales will enable improvements in service offerings and customer experience. Finnair emphasizes that it was the first airline in the world to receive the CEIV Pharma certification for handling pharmaceutical goods in 2015. This certification demonstrates Finnair’s commitment to the highest standards in the transport of pharmaceuticals. Kales Airline Services is also the first globally certified GSSA under the CEIV Pharma program, highlighting the company’s dedication to high-quality air freight services.
Strengthening pharma logistics
By combining the networks of both companies, they can offer their customers comprehensive solutions in the field of pharma logistics. This ensures the integrity, security, and reliability of each shipment. Customer inquiries, support, and bookings can be made directly through the Kales offices in Zurich/Basel and Geneva.
Finnair Cargo also provides the option to make freight bookings through various online platforms. These platforms are available in several countries, including Switzerland. The partnership between Finnair and Kales aims to further develop existing customer relationships in Switzerland and increase efficiency in air freight operations.
