TRA 2026: Innovation boosts from Hungary
May 18, 2026 at 2:34 PMRiyadh Cargo has expanded its international presence by appointing new General Sales and Service Agents (GSSA) in Egypt, India, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). These strategic partnerships are part of efforts to strengthen the company’s global logistics operations in line with Saudi Vision 2030. The new GSSA partners are expected to solidify Riyadh Cargo’s market position in some of the world’s most dynamic air freight markets.
Expansion of market presence
The appointment of Air Logistics Group India as GSSA in India, Cargo Partners (dnata Cargo) in the UAE, and M&C Aviation in Egypt enables Riyadh Cargo to build a stronger commercial representation and operational expertise in these key markets. These partnerships are designed to optimize logistics operations in regions that play a central role in global trade. The activation of the partnerships will occur gradually, depending on market maturity and network deployment.
The new GSSA partners complement an already existing network of international partners, which includes SATS Saudi Arabia Company for ground handling in Saudi Arabia, Worldwide Flight Services at London Heathrow Airport, and Crest Cargo Services in Pakistan. These collaborations ensure consistent service delivery and local market knowledge, which are crucial for the expansion of Riyadh Cargo.
Strategic importance of new markets
Egypt, India, and the UAE are of great significance to Riyadh Cargo’s network. These markets provide access to extensive trade flows between Asia, the Middle East, and Africa, enhancing connectivity to European and global markets via Riyadh. This network strategy supports the growing demand for cross-border trade and enables more efficient movement of cargo in key areas such as e-commerce, pharmaceuticals, and perishable goods.
Riyadh Cargo plans to further expand its capacities with a fleet of over 180 modern aircraft and a network aiming for more than 100 destinations by 2030. This also includes the integration of multimodal solutions such as Road Feeder Services to provide a seamless logistics experience and support the development of a resilient and connected cargo ecosystem.
Pravin Singh, Vice President of Cargo at Riyadh Cargo, commented on the new partnerships: “Each of these markets brings different strengths to our network. India offers scalability and sustained demand; the UAE and Egypt provide strong connections and opportunities for scaling through direct flights.” Singh emphasized that collaborating with experienced partners in each market helps build a globally connected and locally anchored cargo network.
