Apr 28, 2026 at 10:38 AMAmazon has announced the expansion of its delivery service „Amazon Now“ to 100 cities in India. This initiative includes the development of over 1,000 micro-fulfillment centers (MFCs). With this expansion, customers in various urban and rural areas will gain access to a wide range of products, including groceries, personal care items, fashion and beauty products, as well as pet supplies. The new infrastructure will also enable more than 16,000 farmers to sell their produce directly to consumers through „Amazon Now.“
Infrastructure expansion
The cities where „Amazon Now“ is now available include large metropolises such as Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, and Bengaluru, as well as smaller cities like Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Jaipur, Lucknow, Kanpur, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, Meerut, Mysore, Panipat, Kochi, Amritsar, Mangalore, and Vizag. This geographical diversification aims to reach a broader customer base and offer the service in various regions of the country.
