AAL Shipping has strengthened its position in the heavy lift and project cargo sector by obtaining the „ISO 27001 certification“: This internationally recognized standard for information security management systems reaffirms the company’s security standards in handling sensitive data, as recently communicated.
The ISO 27001 certification complements AAL’s existing QHSE management system, which also includes the standards „ISO 9001“ for quality management, „ISO 45001“ for occupational health and safety, „ISO 14001“ for environmental management, and „ISO 50001“ for energy management. According to the company, this certification structure covers all aspects of operations, including vessel performance, crew welfare, environmental responsibility, and energy efficiency.
