Jan 15, 2026 at 10:31 AMPSA International Pte Ltd set a personal record in global container throughput in 2025. The company reported a total throughput of 105 million Twenty-foot Equivalent Units (TEUs) at its ports and terminals. This represents an increase of 5% compared to the previous year. The record builds on the results of 2024, when PSA first surpassed the 100 million TEU mark.
Growth in Singapore and Internationally
PSA’s terminal in Singapore recorded a throughput of 44.5 million TEUs, which means an increase of over 8%. The terminals outside Singapore contributed an additional 60.4 million TEUs to the overall result, corresponding to a growth of 2%. Peter Voser, Chairman of the Board of PSA International, commented on the challenges of the global market in 2025. He emphasized that geopolitical uncertainties, trade pressures, technological disruptions, and climate change shaped the conditions. Despite these challenges, the group achieved remarkable container throughput, made possible by close collaboration with customers and partners.
