PSA International achieves record throughput
Jan 15, 2026 at 10:14 AMJayud Global Logistics Limited has entered into an agreement to secure air freight capacities on the route between Zhengzhou and Chicago. This Block Space Agreement (BSA) will take effect on January 17, 2026, allowing the company to utilize weekly freight capacities of approximately 16,800 kg. The flights will be operated three times a week with B747-400F freighters between Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport (CGO) and Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD).
Expansion of Air Freight Services
The agreement aims to enhance air freight services for customers by providing reduced operational risk without Jayud having to operate its own aircraft. This enables the company to offer competitive prices and reliable services. The focus is particularly on the transport of cross-border e-commerce goods declared under customs code 9610, as well as electronic devices with lithium batteries that comply with international air safety regulations.
According to the company’s estimates, the BSA is expected to generate revenue of approximately 68 million RMB (about 9.8 million USD) and a profit of around 3.8 million RMB (about 0.55 million USD). Xiaogang Geng, Chairman and CEO of Jayud, commented on the agreement, emphasizing that it represents an important expansion of cross-border logistics capabilities. By securing capacities, the company can provide customers with direct access to air freight between Central China and the Midwest of the USA.
Strategic Importance of the Route
The Zhengzhou-Chicago route connects two significant logistics centers. Zhengzhou is home to the world’s largest smartphone manufacturer, Foxconn, while Chicago O’Hare is one of the largest cargo airports in North America, offering extensive transportation connections throughout the USA. This strategic link could enhance efficiency in international goods transport and strengthen the competitiveness of the involved companies.
Jayud Global Logistics Limited has established itself as a provider of comprehensive supply chain solutions, offering a variety of cross-border logistics services. The company benefits from geographical advantages that provide strong support for sea, air, and land logistics.
