Jan 12, 2026 at 11:21 AMRadial, a provider of eCommerce solutions, has appointed Nils Walther as Chief Commercial Officer. This decision was announced on January 7, 2026, at a time when brands are increasingly seeking logistics partners that can help them grow in a challenging market environment. The challenges include tighter margins, complex operations, and rising delivery expectations.
Walther brings over 15 years of experience in sales and strategy from complex, capital-intensive companies. Most recently, he held senior positions at Lucid Motors and Nikola Motor Company, where he was instrumental in scaling commercial operations. There, he established structured go-to-market strategies and worked closely with the executive team to align sales activities with operational readiness and long-term financial performance.
In his new role at Radial, Walther will lead the company’s commercial organization and be a member of the leadership team. He is responsible for how Radial supports the growth of its customers. He will work closely with the operations, product, and technology areas to ensure that Radial’s solutions meet customer needs and deliver measurable business results for modern brands. A particular focus will be on promoting the use of Radial Fast Track. By strengthening collaboration within the company, it aims to ensure that brands benefit from scalable and reliable fulfillment that protects the customer experience and supports long-term business results from click to delivery.
Tom Schmitt, CEO of Radial, commented on Walther’s appointment: „Nils understands that strong commercial performance is built on trust, consistency, and execution. As brands look for partners to help them grow without adding complexity, Nils brings the right balance of commercial rigor and customer focus to strengthen relationships and support Radial’s next phase of growth.“
Walther’s appointment reflects Radial’s ongoing focus on helping modern brands grow reliably, as performance in fulfillment increasingly becomes a critical factor for customer retention and brand perception.
„I am excited to join Radial as the company embarks on a new era with bnode and at a time when fulfillment and operational execution are central to brand growth,“ said Nils Walther. „Radial’s scale, technology, and operational expertise enable it to act as a true strategic partner. I look forward to working with our teams and customers to help brands grow with confidence from click to delivery.“
Walther will report to Schmitt and will be based in Arizona.
