Jan 12, 2026 at 2:56 PMHong Kong Air Cargo has announced the arrival of its latest aircraft, an Airbus A330-200P2F. This fleet expansion represents another step in the airline’s capacity enhancement plan.
The Airbus A330-200P2F is a converted freighter that offers flexible and adequate cargo capacity to meet the varying shipping profiles of regional markets. This new aircraft is intended to support the airline’s growth strategy by improving service reliability and connectivity to key regional trade routes. The arrival of the A330-200P2F also marks the expansion of the fleet beyond the previous number of five aircraft that have been in operation since the company’s founding in 2017.
“The addition of the sixth aircraft enhances our ability to support our customers with greater flexibility and reliability while we continue to provide dependable cargo solutions within our network,” stated Chairman Tony Ma. “With the increase in capacity, we will continue to optimize our network by building on strong frequencies and expanding our cargo presence on the continents.”
In the future, Hong Kong Air Cargo plans to explore further expansion opportunities, including growth in key markets and the development of long-haul connections.
