The global logistics provider GEODIS officially launched a new 5,500 square meter logistics facility in Schiphol on October 6. Services for the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors will be offered there.
(Paris/Schipol) With the new facility, located in close proximity to the existing cargo center, GEODIS is further expanding its presence in the Netherlands in the Pharma & Healthcare sector. The logistics company is already well established in contract logistics for its customers in both industries at the Venlo site. The new investment in Schiphol-Rijk focuses on the company’s freight forwarding business and is part of GEODIS’s global cross-docking network for ambient and temperature-controlled products.
The new facility has TAPA-A certification for air freight and the corresponding CEIV-Pharma certification1 for handling goods in the temperature range of 15-25 °C and 2-8 °C.
Complete Solution in Pharma and Healthcare
