Cathay Cargo anunciou a introdu\u00e7\u00e3o de uma nova rede intermodal integrada para mercadorias perec\u00edveis, que solidifica ainda mais o papel de Hong Kong como centro internacional de carga para a Greater Bay Area (GBA). Com um novo servi\u00e7o de barca\u00e7a refrigerada que conecta diretamente o Aeroporto Internacional de Hong Kong (HKIA) ao Terminal de Carga da Cathay em Dongguan, al\u00e9m de uma Air-Land Fresh Lane expandida que leva a Macau atrav\u00e9s da Ponte Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau (HZMB), os remetentes se beneficiam de uma variedade de op\u00e7\u00f5es de transporte e de uma cadeia de frio aprimorada.<\/p>\n

O novo servi\u00e7o de barca\u00e7a representa a primeira solu\u00e7\u00e3o comercial de transporte a\u00e9reo-mar\u00edtimo para mercadorias perec\u00edveis refrigeradas de Hong Kong para a GBA. Ap\u00f3s testes bem-sucedidos no in\u00edcio de 2026, o servi\u00e7o agora est\u00e1 totalmente operacional. As remessas s\u00e3o carregadas em sua embalagem original, o que preserva a integridade da embalagem e minimiza o risco de erros de manuseio. A barca\u00e7a vai diretamente para o Terminal de Carga da Cathay em Dongguan, onde os destinat\u00e1rios podem retirar as mercadorias de uma c\u00e2mara frigor\u00edfica especial no cais. A expans\u00e3o da Air-Land Fresh Lane para Macau permite o transporte de mercadorias perec\u00edveis em apenas quatro horas do HKIA para Macau, incluindo todos os procedimentos de alf\u00e2ndega e quarentena<\/a>. As remessas s\u00e3o pr\u00e9-aprovadas pelas autoridades alfandeg\u00e1rias de Hong Kong e seladas com um selo reconhecido, de modo que geralmente n\u00e3o precisam ser verificadas novamente na fronteira terrestre.
