Isso inclui a introdu\u00e7\u00e3o do Cargo Accounts Settlement Systems (CASS), que desempenha um papel central na liquida\u00e7\u00e3o de pagamentos entre companhias a\u00e9reas e transportadoras. Segundo a IATA, os quil\u00f4metros de carga transportados pelas companhias a\u00e9reas da regi\u00e3o cresceram em m\u00e9dia 3,3% ao ano nos \u00faltimos dez anos at\u00e9 abril de 2026, resultando em um crescimento acumulado de 38,8%.<\/p>\n<h3>Expans\u00e3o dos servi\u00e7os CASS no M\u00e9xico<\/h3>\n<p>No M\u00e9xico, as opera\u00e7\u00f5es internas do CASS foram iniciadas em abril de 2026, baseando-se nas opera\u00e7\u00f5es de exporta\u00e7\u00e3o do CASS que existem desde 1987. O M\u00e9xico ser\u00e1 o segundo pa\u00eds, ap\u00f3s os EUA, a introduzir o IATA FlexiPay. Este sistema permite a liquida\u00e7\u00e3o em tempo real, pagamentos antecipados seguros e modalidades de pagamento flex\u00edveis entre companhias a\u00e9reas, agentes de carga e despachantes. Em 2025, o mercado interno de carga a\u00e9rea no M\u00e9xico transportou mais de 125.000 t, o que corresponde a 15,8% do volume total transportado de e para o M\u00e9xico. No primeiro trimestre de 2026, houve um fortalecimento das conex\u00f5es internas, com as rotas de crescimento mais r\u00e1pido sendo Monterrey-Cidade do M\u00e9xico (+50,9% em rela\u00e7\u00e3o ao ano anterior), Tijuana-Guadalajara (+36%) e Cidade do M\u00e9xico-Hermosillo (+17%).<\/p>\n<h3>Crescimento no Paraguai<\/h3>\n<p>No Paraguai, a opera\u00e7\u00e3o de exporta\u00e7\u00e3o do CASS ser\u00e1 inaugurada no \u00faltimo trimestre de 2026, com um forte interesse do setor, uma vez que os volumes de carga est\u00e3o aumentando. Embora o Paraguai seja um dos mercados menores da Am\u00e9rica Latina, o pa\u00eds registrou um crescimento significativo em 2025, transportando mais de 42.000 t de carga a\u00e9rea, o que representa um aumento de 225,3% em rela\u00e7\u00e3o ao ano anterior.<\/p>\n<h3>Introdu\u00e7\u00e3o no Brasil<\/h3>\n<p>A IATA planeja introduzir as opera\u00e7\u00f5es internas do CASS no Brasil no in\u00edcio de 2027. Isso se baseia nas opera\u00e7\u00f5es de exporta\u00e7\u00e3o do CASS, que est\u00e3o ativas neste mercado h\u00e1 mais de duas d\u00e9cadas. Em 2025, as companhias a\u00e9reas que atendem ao Brasil transportaram mais de 791.000 t de carga a\u00e9rea, com 7,9% do tr\u00e1fego correspondente a voos internos. No total, a carga a\u00e9rea representou 5,9% do valor das exporta\u00e7\u00f5es brasileiras em 2025, embora essas exporta\u00e7\u00f5es de alto valor e baixa densidade representassem apenas 0,3% do peso total das exporta\u00e7\u00f5es brasileiras.<\/p>\n<p>Juan Antonio Rodr\u00edguez, diretor de servi\u00e7os financeiros da IATA, BSP &amp; CASS, declarou:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cA IATA tem apoiado as companhias a\u00e9reas na Am\u00e9rica Latina com sistemas de pagamento e liquida\u00e7\u00e3o otimizados ao longo de d\u00e9cadas. A ind\u00fastria de carga a\u00e9rea h\u00e1 muito reconhece o valor do CASS da IATA e agora confia que a IATA apoiar\u00e1 o crescimento dos mercados internos no Brasil e no M\u00e9xico, bem como de um mercado de exporta\u00e7\u00e3o emergente no Paraguai.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h3>Sobre o papel do CASS<\/h3>\n<p>O CASS desempenha um papel crucial na simplifica\u00e7\u00e3o do movimento global de carga a\u00e9rea, facilitando a liquida\u00e7\u00e3o e o ajuste de contas entre companhias a\u00e9reas e transportadoras. Isso \u00e9 gerenciado atrav\u00e9s do CASSLink, uma solu\u00e7\u00e3o avan\u00e7ada de faturamento eletr\u00f4nico baseada na web. Em 2025, o CASS processou pagamentos no valor de 47,5 bilh\u00f5es de USD, com uma taxa de liquida\u00e7\u00e3o pontual de 100%. Globalmente, a IATA opera 89 opera\u00e7\u00f5es de exporta\u00e7\u00e3o do CASS, 9 opera\u00e7\u00f5es de importa\u00e7\u00e3o do CASS e 2 opera\u00e7\u00f5es internas do CASS, incluindo o
