Ela planeja superar as metas de redu\u00e7\u00e3o de emiss\u00f5es da Organiza\u00e7\u00e3o Mar\u00edtima Internacional (IMO) e da Uni\u00e3o Europeia (UE) at\u00e9 2030. Isso deve ser apoiado pela introdu\u00e7\u00e3o de BioGNL, que deve aumentar ainda mais o desempenho ambiental da frota.<\/p>\n<p>Em 2016, a UECC entregou os dois primeiros transportadores de ve\u00edculos e caminh\u00f5es a g\u00e1s natural liquefeito (GNL) de combust\u00edvel duplo, &#8222;Auto Eco&#8220; e &#8222;Auto Energy&#8220;. Esses navios, constru\u00eddos no estaleiro chin\u00eas NACKS, estabeleceram novos padr\u00f5es para o transporte mar\u00edtimo ecol\u00f3gico no com\u00e9rcio europeu de curto alcance RoRo, segundo a UECC. Nos anos seguintes, a UECC expandiu sua frota com mais tr\u00eas PCTCs h\u00edbridos de bateria a GNL de m\u00faltiplos combust\u00edveis, que foram colocados em opera\u00e7\u00e3o em 2021. Essas novas constru\u00e7\u00f5es, &#8222;Auto Achieve&#8220;, &#8222;Auto Aspire&#8220; e &#8222;Auto Advance&#8220;, foram fabricadas no estaleiro Jiangnan.<\/p>\n<h3>Estrat\u00e9gia de sustentabilidade e investimentos futuros<\/h3>\n<p>Em 2028, est\u00e1 prevista a entrega de mais quatro PCTCs h\u00edbridos de bateria a GNL de m\u00faltiplos combust\u00edveis do China Merchants Jinling Shipyard Nanjing. A empresa afirma seguir uma estrat\u00e9gia que integra a tecnologia de GNL com caracter\u00edsticas de efici\u00eancia energ\u00e9tica para alcan\u00e7ar economias de emiss\u00f5es e atingir as metas de zero emiss\u00f5es l\u00edquidas.<\/p>\n<p>Segundo Glenn Edvardsen, CEO da UECC, a empresa reduziu continuamente a pegada de carbono de suas opera\u00e7\u00f5es nos \u00faltimos dez anos por meio de medidas proativas. Isso se mostrou uma vantagem competitiva, especialmente desde a introdu\u00e7\u00e3o da regulamenta\u00e7\u00e3o de precifica\u00e7\u00e3o de carbono. Os investimentos em novas constru\u00e7\u00f5es tamb\u00e9m ajudaram a reduzir a exposi\u00e7\u00e3o ao sistema de com\u00e9rcio de emiss\u00f5es da UE (EU ETS) e a operar a frota com um excedente de conformidade sob o FuelEU Maritime. Isso permite que a UECC evite sobretaxas e crie potenciais de receita por meio de pooling.<\/p>\n<h3>Avan\u00e7os na redu\u00e7\u00e3o de emiss\u00f5es<\/h3>\n<p>A UECC estabeleceu a meta de reduzir as emiss\u00f5es em 45% at\u00e9 2030 em compara\u00e7\u00e3o a 2014, o que corresponde a cerca de 186.600 t de CO\u2082. No ano passado, a empresa registrou uma redu\u00e7\u00e3o de quase 154.500 t de CO\u2082, representando uma melhoria em rela\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0s 3.200 t em 2017. Al\u00e9m disso, a UECC tem promovido o desenvolvimento de uma rede de abastecimento para incentivar a demanda por BioGNL. Um acordo de fornecimento correspondente com a Titan Clean Fuels para abastecimento de LBM no porto de Roterd\u00e3 foi assinado para atender \u00e0 principal rede comercial Norte-Sul da empresa sob o
