Os projetos devem ser implementados at\u00e9 2031 e, segundo o governo, criar\u00e3o mais de 62.500 empregos diretos e indiretos.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"650\" data-end=\"986\">Os planos incluem a constru\u00e7\u00e3o do centro log\u00edstico multimodal de Balagarh, a expans\u00e3o e mecaniza\u00e7\u00e3o das instala\u00e7\u00f5es portu\u00e1rias de Kolkata e Haldia, a melhoria das vias naveg\u00e1veis interiores, al\u00e9m de novas capacidades de estaleiros e reparos. Tamb\u00e9m est\u00e3o previstos investimentos em turismo fluvial, desenvolvimento de margens e clusters industriais pr\u00f3ximos aos portos.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"988\" data-end=\"1358\">Particularmente relevantes para o setor de carga s\u00e3o as melhorias planejadas na infraestrutura portu\u00e1ria e das vias naveg\u00e1veis. O volume de carga do Porto Syama Prasad Mookerjee aumentou, segundo o governo, de 46,3 milh\u00f5es de toneladas em 2014 para 70,9 milh\u00f5es de toneladas no ano fiscal de 2025\/26. O volume de transporte nas vias naveg\u00e1veis interiores quase quintuplicou no mesmo per\u00edodo.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1360\" data-end=\"1674\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Os projetos fazem parte da estrat\u00e9gia &#8222;Maritime Amrit Kaal Vision 2047&#8220;, com a qual a \u00cdndia pretende modernizar sua infraestrutura mar\u00edtima e reduzir os custos log\u00edsticos.
