O &#8222;European Freight Efficiency Index&#8220; intitulado &#8222;<a href=\"https:\/\/insights.geotab.com\/EUUrbanFreightEfficiencyIndex-EN\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Cost of Standing Still<\/a>&#8220; mostra que Berlim, com uma pontua\u00e7\u00e3o de 61 em 100, apresenta a maior efici\u00eancia, enquanto Madri, com apenas 25 pontos, ocupa a \u00faltima posi\u00e7\u00e3o na escala. Isso resulta em uma diferen\u00e7a de desempenho de 144% entre as melhores e as piores cidades.<\/p>\n<p>O estudo destaca que milh\u00f5es de ve\u00edculos circulam diariamente pelas cidades da Europa para transportar bens essenciais, como alimentos, medicamentos e materiais. No entanto, a efici\u00eancia desses transportes varia significativamente de acordo com a cidade. O relat\u00f3rio revela que, mesmo com frotas de ve\u00edculos id\u00eanticas, a efici\u00eancia depende fortemente da infraestrutura urbana e das condi\u00e7\u00f5es de tr\u00e1fego locais.<\/p>\n<h3>Condi\u00e7\u00f5es de tr\u00e1fego diferentes e seus impactos<\/h3>\n<p>Berlim se beneficia de uma estrutura urbana polic\u00eantrica, que distribui o tr\u00e1fego por v\u00e1rias rotas, permitindo um fluxo de tr\u00e1fego est\u00e1vel. Em contraste, Madri sofre com uma alta suscetibilidade a congestionamentos, o que impacta negativamente a efici\u00eancia. Amsterd\u00e3 segue Berlim de perto com 59 pontos, enquanto Dublin (49) e Roma (48) apresentam uma efici\u00eancia m\u00e9dia. Paris (37) e Londres (29) est\u00e3o em uma categoria onde as condi\u00e7\u00f5es de tr\u00e1fego afetam negativamente a efici\u00eancia das frotas.<\/p>\n<p>A an\u00e1lise mostra que n\u00e3o apenas a quantidade de tr\u00e1fego, mas tamb\u00e9m a previsibilidade do fluxo de tr\u00e1fego \u00e9 crucial para a efici\u00eancia. Em cidades como Londres, Paris e Madri, a imprevisibilidade do tr\u00e1fego \u00e9 um problema central. Essa imprevisibilidade resulta em um &#8222;custo estrutural de gest\u00e3o&#8220;, que se manifesta na forma de tempos de espera adicionais e janelas de entrega ineficientes.<\/p>\n<p>Edward Kulperger, Vice-Presidente S\u00eanior EMEA da Geotab, explica: &#8222;A efici\u00eancia no transporte urbano de mercadorias muitas vezes foi considerada apenas em fun\u00e7\u00e3o da carga de tr\u00e1fego. Este \u00edndice mostra que o comportamento do tr\u00e1fego representa uma problem\u00e1tica mais profunda. Nas cidades mais eficientes, o movimento \u00e9 constante e previs\u00edvel, enquanto nas cidades menos eficientes, ele \u00e9 fragmentado, o que tem impactos diretos nos custos e nas emiss\u00f5es.&#8220;<\/p>\n<h3>Metodologia do \u00edndice<\/h3>\n<p>O European Urban Freight Efficiency Index avalia cada cidade em uma escala de 0 a 100, com base em duas dimens\u00f5es: o fluxo de tr\u00e1fego e os custos dos congestionamentos. O fluxo de tr\u00e1fego representa 75% da avalia\u00e7\u00e3o e considera a carga de congestionamento, o n\u00famero de horas com tr\u00e1fego fluido e a previsibilidade dos tempos de viagem. Os custos dos congestionamentos representam os 25% restantes e medem o tempo de inatividade dos ve\u00edculos como um indicador dos desperd\u00edcios causados pelo sistema.<\/p>\n<p>Os dados para o \u00edndice s\u00e3o do ano de 2025 e baseiam-se em informa\u00e7\u00f5es dos ve\u00edculos conectados da Geotab em sete cidades: Berlim, Amsterd\u00e3, Dublin, Roma, Paris, Londres e Madri.
