A ferrovia ser\u00e1 equipada com um design de via \u00fanica combinada, que permite tanto bitola padr\u00e3o quanto bitola larga, conforme relata o portal de not\u00edcias. No total, est\u00e3o previstos 760 suportes em T ao longo da rota. A conclus\u00e3o e a opera\u00e7\u00e3o da ferrovia est\u00e3o previstas para 2027. A instala\u00e7\u00e3o deve oferecer uma capacidade de carga anual de 30 milh\u00f5es de toneladas, o que deve melhorar a interconex\u00e3o infraestrutural entre a China e a Mong\u00f3lia e promover a coopera\u00e7\u00e3o econ\u00f4mica.<\/p>\n<p>No entanto, o projeto enfrenta, segundo o <em>China Daily<\/em>, desafios t\u00e9cnicos: as obras est\u00e3o sendo realizadas no \u00e1rido deserto de Gobi, caracterizado por frequentes tempestades de poeira e tempestades que ocorrem durante todo o ano. Essas condi\u00e7\u00f5es dificultariam a eleva\u00e7\u00e3o e a instala\u00e7\u00e3o dos suportes em grandes alturas.
