Com isso, a empresa \u00e9 respons\u00e1vel pela gest\u00e3o operacional do local, que anteriormente estava sob a responsabilidade de outro operador. Paralelamente \u00e0s opera\u00e7\u00f5es em andamento, as obras de expans\u00e3o do terreno est\u00e3o em andamento, com o objetivo de criar o primeiro terminal CargoBeamer na Alemanha. A entrada em opera\u00e7\u00e3o da primeira fase dessa expans\u00e3o est\u00e1 prevista para o in\u00edcio de 2027, conforme informado pela empresa.<\/p>\n<p>A empresa j\u00e1 oferece h\u00e1 v\u00e1rios anos um servi\u00e7o intermodal entre Kaldenkirchen e Domodossola. Este servi\u00e7o permite o uso de semirreboques n\u00e3o aptos para guindaste sobre trilhos. Com atualmente 20 viagens de ida e volta semanais, este servi\u00e7o \u00e9, segundo a empresa, um dos mais utilizados no setor intermodal da Europa. No local de Kaldenkirchen, os semirreboques s\u00e3o manuseados com equipamentos Reachstacker.<\/p>\n<h3>Inova\u00e7\u00f5es tecnol\u00f3gicas e expans\u00e3o de capacidade<\/h3>\n<p>A introdu\u00e7\u00e3o da tecnologia CargoBeamer deve permitir o manuseio totalmente autom\u00e1tico e horizontal de todos os tipos de semirreboques. Essa mudan\u00e7a tecnol\u00f3gica deve dobrar a capacidade anual do terminal a partir de 2027, para cerca de 140.000 unidades de carga. Ap\u00f3s a conclus\u00e3o de ambas as fases de expans\u00e3o, a capacidade do terminal, segundo a CargoBeamer, dever\u00e1 ultrapassar 200.000 unidades de carga por ano, o que representa mais de
