Duas variantes para navios com 60.000 &#8211; 65.000 DWT receberam agora uma &#8222;aprova\u00e7\u00e3o em princ\u00edpio&#8220; (aip) da ClassNK.<\/p>\n<p>Os conceitos utilizam velas rotativas de \u00faltima gera\u00e7\u00e3o, com 3,5 m de di\u00e2metro e 24,5 m de altura. Uma das vers\u00f5es prev\u00ea uma \u00fanica vela na proa, enquanto a segunda utiliza um sistema de trilhos para a instala\u00e7\u00e3o de at\u00e9 tr\u00eas velas rotativas no conv\u00e9s. O objetivo \u00e9 simplificar os processos de instala\u00e7\u00e3o e aumentar o potencial de economia de combust\u00edvel.<\/p>\n<p>O desenvolvimento baseia-se nas experi\u00eancias de projetos anteriores, incluindo a primeira instala\u00e7\u00e3o em um graneleiro em 2018.
