Em comemora\u00e7\u00e3o ao 25\u00ba anivers\u00e1rio da GBRf, o CEO John Smith iniciou o processo de nomea\u00e7\u00e3o de seu sucessor. A transi\u00e7\u00e3o deve ocorrer no pr\u00f3ximo ano. Smith continuar\u00e1 a liderar a empresa durante esse per\u00edodo e garantir\u00e1 uma transi\u00e7\u00e3o suave.<\/p>\n<p>No \u00e2mbito dessas mudan\u00e7as, duas posi\u00e7\u00f5es de lideran\u00e7a tamb\u00e9m foram preenchidas. Liam Day (esquerda) foi promovido de Diretor de Ativos a Diretor Executivo Interino, enquanto Ian Langton (direita) foi promovido de Diretor de Produ\u00e7\u00e3o a Diretor de Opera\u00e7\u00f5es (COO).<\/p>\n<p>Day ingressou na empresa em 2014, ap\u00f3s ter trabalhado anteriormente na Network Rail. Ele come\u00e7ou sua carreira em um programa de treinamento de gest\u00e3o na Network Rail e, em seguida, mudou-se para o setor de transporte ferrovi\u00e1rio de cargas.
