Essa demanda ocorre em meio a uma crise global das cadeias de suprimentos e ao aumento dos pre\u00e7os do petr\u00f3leo. O foco est\u00e1 especialmente na empresa DP World, que opera v\u00e1rios terminais de cont\u00eaineres na Austr\u00e1lia e segue uma ampla agenda de automa\u00e7\u00e3o e IA, impulsionada pelos propriet\u00e1rios estrangeiros da empresa.<\/p>\n<p>A DP World opera terminais em Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne e Fremantle, consolidando uma posi\u00e7\u00e3o dominante no mercado australiano de terminais de cont\u00eaineres. A administra\u00e7\u00e3o australiana da empresa est\u00e1 implementando uma agenda de IA e automa\u00e7\u00e3o, iniciada pelo ex-CEO global Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem.<\/p>\n<p>De acordo com a MUA, a DP World gerou centenas de milh\u00f5es de d\u00f3lares de empresas e consumidores australianos nos \u00faltimos anos, mas pagou pouco em impostos na Austr\u00e1lia. Durante mais de uma d\u00e9cada, a empresa n\u00e3o pagou imposto de renda corporativo, enquanto os sal\u00e1rios dos trabalhadores e os impostos relacionados, que em 2025 totalizar\u00e3o quase 50 milh\u00f5es de USD, representaram as principais contribui\u00e7\u00f5es para a economia do pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n<h3>Relat\u00f3rio sobre Automa\u00e7\u00e3o e Perda de Empregos<\/h3>\n<p>Juntamente com o Centre for International Corporate Tax Accountability and Research (Cictar), a MUA apresentou no parlamento australiano o <a href=\"https:\/\/static1.squarespace.com\/static\/636a46c59a62847f542195d2\/t\/69bfa4856f5ac0743eeadbe8\/1774167173096\/MUA_DP_28p_web+version.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">relat\u00f3rio &#8222;Perda de Empregos e Transfer\u00eancia de Lucros na DP World: Como a Automa\u00e7\u00e3o de IA Amea\u00e7a o Bem-Estar Econ\u00f4mico da Austr\u00e1lia&#8220;<\/a>. O relat\u00f3rio descreve como a Dubai Ports planeja implementar uma automa\u00e7\u00e3o de IA em larga escala na Austr\u00e1lia, o que poderia colocar em risco at\u00e9 1.000 empregos, ou seja, mais de 60% da for\u00e7a de trabalho. A automa\u00e7\u00e3o proposta substituiria empregos qualificados e sindicalizados por ve\u00edculos aut\u00f4nomos e guindastes operados remotamente. Essa iniciativa contraria o Plano Nacional de IA do governo australiano, que prev\u00ea a consulta a trabalhadores e sindicatos.<\/p>\n<p>O relat\u00f3rio aponta que o principal objetivo da automa\u00e7\u00e3o n\u00e3o \u00e9 melhorar a efici\u00eancia da cadeia de suprimentos, mas sim reduzir os custos trabalhistas e aumentar os lucros. Taxas mais altas, que s\u00e3o repassadas a empresas e consumidores, contribuem para a infla\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p>A MUA exigiu uma s\u00e9rie de medidas para garantir a cadeia de suprimentos australiana, a fim de proteger a comunidade e a economia de choques globais. Essas demandas s\u00e3o especialmente relevantes diante da recente crise do petr\u00f3leo, provocada por tens\u00f5es geopol\u00edticas.<\/p>\n<p>As recomenda\u00e7\u00f5es do relat\u00f3rio incluem, entre outras:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Supervis\u00e3o rigorosa e transpar\u00eancia para sistemas de IA no local de trabalho<br \/>\n&#8211; Prote\u00e7\u00e3o de dados dos trabalhadores e proibi\u00e7\u00e3o de pr\u00e1ticas de vigil\u00e2ncia invasivas<br \/>\n&#8211; Prioriza\u00e7\u00e3o da seguran\u00e7a, seguran\u00e7a no trabalho e benef\u00edcio p\u00fablico sobre lucros corporativos<br \/>\n&#8211; Garantia de plenos direitos de negocia\u00e7\u00e3o e prote\u00e7\u00e3o da luta trabalhista na introdu\u00e7\u00e3o de IA ou automa\u00e7\u00e3o<br \/>\n&#8211;
