Em particular, a situa\u00e7\u00e3o no Golfo P\u00e9rsico se agravou desde o in\u00edcio da Guerra do Ir\u00e3 no final de fevereiro. Atualmente, mais de 2.000 navios comerciais com cerca de 20.000 marinheiros est\u00e3o bloqueados na regi\u00e3o, incluindo pelo menos 50 embarca\u00e7\u00f5es de armadores alem\u00e3es. A \u00fanica sa\u00edda segura do golfo passa pelo Estreito de Ormuz, que atualmente \u00e9 considerado inseguro. Segundo relatos, cerca de 20 navios comerciais j\u00e1 foram atacados, resultando em feridos e mortes entre os marinheiros.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA Guerra do Ir\u00e3 evidencia a estreita liga\u00e7\u00e3o entre conflitos geopol\u00edticos e cadeias de suprimento globais\u201d, explicou Gaby Bornheim, presidente da Associa\u00e7\u00e3o dos Armadores Alem\u00e3es (VDR), durante a confer\u00eancia de imprensa anual em Hamburgo. Ela enfatizou a import\u00e2ncia estrat\u00e9gica da prote\u00e7\u00e3o da navega\u00e7\u00e3o comercial para a Alemanha, especialmente como na\u00e7\u00e3o exportadora, e direcionou seus pensamentos aos marinheiros que trabalham em condi\u00e7\u00f5es dif\u00edceis. Martin Kr\u00f6ger, diretor executivo do VDR, acrescentou que o governo federal deve ponderar cuidadosamente as poss\u00edveis medidas nesta situa\u00e7\u00e3o cr\u00edtica para garantir a seguran\u00e7a das rotas comerciais mar\u00edtimas e das tripula\u00e7\u00f5es.<\/p>\n<h3>A frota comercial da Alemanha em compara\u00e7\u00e3o internacional<\/h3>\n<p>A frota comercial alem\u00e3 continua a ser uma das maiores do mundo, atualmente composta por 1.716 navios com um tonelagem bruta (GT) de 46,7 milh\u00f5es. Com isso, a Alemanha ocupa a s\u00e9tima posi\u00e7\u00e3o em compara\u00e7\u00e3o internacional, atr\u00e1s de pa\u00edses como Gr\u00e9cia e China. \u00c9 especialmente not\u00e1vel a ascens\u00e3o da frota de cont\u00eaineres alem\u00e3, que com 30,4 milh\u00f5es de GT agora ocupa o segundo lugar mundial, superando a China com 30,2 milh\u00f5es de GT. Apenas a Su\u00ed\u00e7a, com 41,2 milh\u00f5es de GT, ainda est\u00e1 \u00e0 frente da Alemanha.<\/p>\n<p>Kr\u00f6ger descreveu a frota comercial como um \u201ctesouro estrat\u00e9gico\u201d, que n\u00e3o apenas garante o abastecimento da economia e da popula\u00e7\u00e3o, mas tamb\u00e9m possibilita opera\u00e7\u00f5es militares e humanit\u00e1rias em caso de necessidade.<\/p>\n<h3>Proposta para fortalecer a compet\u00eancia mar\u00edtima<\/h3>\n<p>Para garantir a capacidade operacional da frota comercial em situa\u00e7\u00f5es de crise, o VDR prop\u00f5e a introdu\u00e7\u00e3o de um servi\u00e7o mar\u00edtimo no \u00e2mbito do novo servi\u00e7o militar. Este servi\u00e7o mar\u00edtimo deve ajudar a construir uma reserva mar\u00edtima civil, cujos membros possam contribuir para a manuten\u00e7\u00e3o do abastecimento mar\u00edtimo em caso de emerg\u00eancia. Ao mesmo tempo, o servi\u00e7o mar\u00edtimo oferece aos jovens a oportunidade de adquirir experi\u00eancias pr\u00e1ticas a bordo e conte\u00fados de forma\u00e7\u00e3o que podem ser contabilizados em uma futura forma\u00e7\u00e3o profissional.<\/p>\n<p>Kr\u00f6ger enfatizou a necessidade de uma base de pessoal nacional maior para estar preparado para situa\u00e7\u00f5es de crise. O servi\u00e7o mar\u00edtimo tamb\u00e9m poderia servir como uma alternativa civil ao servi\u00e7o militar, caso este se torne novamente obrigat\u00f3rio. O VDR tamb\u00e9m defende a retomada de pr\u00e1ticas comprovadas que estavam em vigor at\u00e9 a suspens\u00e3o da obrigatoriedade do servi\u00e7o militar em 2011, quando marinheiros ativos podiam ser dispensados do servi\u00e7o militar devido \u00e0 sua indispensabilidade.<\/p>\n<h3>Desenvolvimento positivo dos n\u00fameros de novos entrantes na navega\u00e7\u00e3o<\/h3>\n<p>O setor tamb\u00e9m registra um aumento no n\u00famero de novos entrantes. Em 2023, o n\u00famero de novos entrantes no mar subiu de 418 para 537, o que representa um aumento de quase 30% e o maior valor desde 2012. Especialmente nas carreiras de oficiais n\u00e1uticos e t\u00e9cnicos, bem como na forma\u00e7\u00e3o de mec\u00e2nicos de navios, h\u00e1 um forte interesse.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs evolu\u00e7\u00f5es positivas nos n\u00fameros de novos entrantes s\u00e3o um sinal encorajador para o futuro de nossa localiza\u00e7\u00e3o mar\u00edtima\u201d, disse Bornheim.
